We often mistake Jiddu Krishnamurti for a dry intellectual who only dealt with thought structures. Sometimes his teachings are even weaponized against other spiritual practices. But if you look closely, he frequently spoke in deeply somatic and energetic terms.
Krishnamurti pointed out that when you completely stop resisting an unpleasant experience—like the heavy weight of guilt—and instead go directly into it with 100% undivided attention, the collapse of the observer and the observed takes place and “tremendous” energy gets released.
This is precisely where his “method” mirrors the non-dual tantric teachings of Kashmiri Shaivism. Both approaches recognize that keeping the psychological distance between “you” and the feeling is what traps you.
When you dive deep into the raw energetic state without any filters or labels, the separation collapses entirely. The observer becomes the observed. And in that precise moment of collapse, a “tremendous”, unbound energy is released—energy that was previously locked up in resistance itself.
